A truly nice copy of this early edition of a classic work. Bright cloth, tight and clean inside. Looks unused. Richard Chenevix Trench (9 September 1807-1886) Anglican archbishop and poet. Born in Dublin, buried in Westminster Abbey. His philological work, widely taught, contributed greatly to the historical study of the English language.
