Used; Very Good August Senoa (1838 - 1881) wrote over ten novels and was one of the most popular Croatian novelists of the nineteenth century. He took his country's literature from Romanticism to Realism and introduced the historical novel to Croatia. 'Seljacka Buna' (The Peasant's Revolt) was first published in 1977 and has always remained popular.
