Quarto, maroon cloth lettered white, 297pp.. Tissue protected, ipped-in photo portraits of Marx, Engels, Lenin, title in red and black, tissue protected lithographed charts and silk Red Guard armlet bound in, many illustrations and reproductions in b/w and some colour.
In good condition, clean and tight. No dust-wrapper, title to spine rubbed, possibly lacking front free endpaper, one colour plate loose but present. However, generally a very good copy.
Translated from the 1936 Russian edition. “A very valuable official history, despite its obvious partisanship”. Published in London but printed in the Soviet Union.
