Small quarto, (132 x 180mm.). Late C.18th quarter calf over marbled boards, spine ruled gilt with morocco label. Later shelf number to spine. library plate to paste-down, remains of plate to f.e.p., neat library cancel stamp to title page verso. [8]190[2] pp. [par.]⁴ A-Z⁴ Aa⁴ (Aa4 blank). Text in Latin and in Greek. Elzevier’s eagle device (Concordia res parvae crescent) to title page. Pp. 15 and 157 with usual misnumbering. A very nice copy. Internally crisp and clean. Spine ends a little chipped, joint just a little tender. Ex National Central Library given by W L Simpson, R. Abercrombie’s early (C.18th? ink signature to f.e.p).
