Original printed wrappers, 277 pp.. with double page family tree in back. Fair to good condition. Very slightly cocked (lean), stain to leading edge affecting prelims., spine ends snagged. Else tight, no loss, pages not marked. One of some 200 paperback titles published by The Continental Book Company (Bonniers) in Stockholm between 1942 and 1950. The intention, apparently, was to replace the, by then defunct Tauchnitz and Albatros publishing houses with works in English for a continental public. Some titles were colour coded in the manner of Albatross Books before them, and, of course, Penguin.
